The two biggest trends in outdoor entertaining are outdoor kitchens and firepits.

LED lighting has been a game-changer in lighting yards. Lighting brings a garden to life in the evenings to enjoy. The spectrum of lighting options continues to evolve yearly and the number of vendors offering lighting increases. The main categories are uplighting for trees, path and step lighting, ambiance lighting

Planting design is one of Gardenscapes core strengths. Every yard has multiple microclimates that need to be factored into the overall plant design layout. Factors such as the direction your home faces, the amount of shade cast by trees, and the direction and amount of wind you get in your yard all factor in choosing the best plants for your yard that will last.

Outdoor kitchens range from a small island with a grill and refrigerator to a galley kitchen with a grill, pizza oven, refrigerator, sink, and more. “L” shaped kitchens are popular which gives you space to cook and a space for seating for guests. Recently, you can even purchase prefab outdoor kitchens from Pottery Barn and others.
