Gardenscapes' designs are customized based on you! No two projects are ever alike. Gardenscapes knows plants and will help you create a beautiful sustainable garden. Each yard is a separate ecosystem with microclimates within the yard. So many factors play into choosing plants in each area of your yard - the amount of sun/shade, water, and soil. Our mission is to create an inviting, colorful, and richly textured garden that complements the architecture of your home and the surrounding environment. We are committed to doing this in a cost-effective and creative way.

HOW IT STARTED

Founder and Landscape Designer Cheryl Westmont's Story

Cheryl Westmont prides herself in creating a garden that her clients will love and want to spend time in. She listens carefully to her client's desires, works with them to find the best creative solutions to the nuances of their yard, and creates a space that is both functional and beautiful.

With over 20 years of experience in designing gardens, she has seen the big transitions in landscaping over the years. The drought has really honed our skills of mastering the use of water in landscaping for maximum efficiency and use. Drought, fire, and proper drainage are now key factors in landscaping planning.

Cheryl has built partnerships with an “A” team of landscape contractors and skilled craftspeople who can implement our designs on time and on budget.

Cheryl is trained in Environmental Horticulture and Design at Foothill College, has QWEL certification for irrigation, and the Association of Professional Landscape Design member.

She is passionate about staying about everything related to landscaping from the latest hardscape materials and irrigation materials to the newest plants.

Vision

We specialize in landscape design with a focus on a variety of landscaping techniques listed on our services page. Our services include yard layout and design, project management and/or consultation, plant selection, procurement, and installation. We have over twenty years of local experience and extensive references.
